"Great People"
Dec 2008 Filed in: Trip

I spend at
least three weeks out of every month in hotels. I
always stay at Holiday Inn chains. This hotel staff is
awesome. While I am there I get the very best
treatment. I stay here for two things, 1) the staff, 2)
the dining area. It is very comfortable with good food
and company. Over the past few months they have added a
third reason to stay. New Rooms. When you book a stay
ask for a new room. I will give you an example about
the staff. I mentioned jokingly about the ribbons tied
on the towels and how at 5 am they are a pain in the
rear. (while I was eating downstairs) The next day I
came in and the ribbons were gone. They strive to
please. Enjoy

"Home away from home"

I travel to
St. Louis quite often on business with my boss. We
always stay at the Holiday inn Okland park because the
people there are like family. They have a wonderful
hotel and are very proud of it. There food and
atmoshere is out of this world. I would say that the
people make the Holiday Inn chain proud with how they
treat everyone that walks through their door. Thank-you
so much for making my home away from home special in
everyway...

“I am a frequent guest, my home away from home”

I am a
frequent guest at the Holiday Inn St Louis airport
(oakland park). The rooms are better than most Holiday
Inns and the food, location and service are better than
any other hotel I have stayed at over the year's. I
have been traveling to the St Louis area on business
for the past 18 plus year's and usually stay 4
nights.

“Great Art, Great Stay”
Sep 2006 Filed in: Trip

I think this
hotel was lovely. Airport hotels can sometimes be in
not so great locations, but this one wasn't so bad. I
loved the art work, which is a great story in of
itself. The hotel is filled with wonderful paintings
that were done by the father of the owners of the hotel
who started painting in his 60's. His work is
absolutely awe inspiring. The airport shuttle was quick
to arrive. The rooms were clean and had all the
amenities necessary. The restaurant was just OK; in the
lower level (AKA the basement) which was kind of weird.
I took the shuttle to the airport to get to the Metro
Link to go downtown, which was quick, easy, and
inexpensive. I would definitely recommend this hotel
and would stay here again.

“Very nice, clean, lots of art---not an ordinary airport hotel and reasonable”
Mar 2006
I have
stayed here several times over the years. The staff is
VERY courteous. The rooms are definitely better than
average. The free shuttle runs more frequently than at
some hotels. You can walk to a couple of spots for a
simple meal. I cannot imagine anyone paying as little
as $30 and not being happy. When I compare this hotel
to many I have stayed at in Europe, it is the best
bargain imaginable. I have recommended this hotel to
friends who were also pleased. Read

“A good, solid Holiday Inn”
Apr 2005 Filed in: Trip

Two separate
one-week stays in Arpil 2005. All but one of the front
desk staff very polite and accommodating, and that
final person is good enough, just not outstanding.
Staff good at providing driving directions. Rooms big
enough, and clean. Wireless internet actually works.
Equipment in exercise room works. Only had one meal,
breakfast, in the restaurant; it was just so-so. Did
not visit the bar so no comment. Across the street is a
Subway sandwich shop, an Italian restaurant, and an
actual Mexican restaurant run by and for Mexicans. They
do allow gringos to eat there, the service is friendly,
and the food is fine; but their English is limited so
non-Spanish speakers will have only a rough idea of
what they're getting until it's brought out to them.
All three are clean with reasonable prices.
